Salary – £21,166pa 22½ hours per week (Pro rata £12,871)
Contract length – 6 months with intention to extend subject to funding
Start date – 1st July ‘21

Sports Buddies is an evolution of our successful Gig Buddies model where we match up people with learning disabilities with a volunteer who shares the same interests so they can build a long lasting friendship.
With lockdown restrictions starting to ease we are keen to support people with learning disabilities to get back out and active in a safe way.
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the development and delivery of the Sports Buddies project
- Recruiting, training and matching volunteers
- Looking for opportunities for physical activity in a wide variety of settings: sports, walks, fitness, dancing and whatever is in your imagination
- Running social meet ups with a physical activity focus
The role will be based at our office in Hove but will involve a lot of travelling around Sussex to make links and support people to make new connections. You will need to be a driver with access to a car to perform this role.
The hours that you work will be flexible.
