The Punk Syndrome
We’ve been a bit quiet lately, and that’s not because we’ve not been busy, it’s because we’ve been very busy.
Tomorrow is the first day that Gig Buddies really starts, as we’ll have Madeline our Project Manager in post and she’ll be introducing herself properly soon with lots more details about how the project is going to work and how people can get involved.
But for now there’s some other exciting news, our mates Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät, a punk band made up of musicians with learning disabilities from Finland have hit the road to tour their documentary film ‘The Punk Syndrome’. To say this is exciting news doesn’t describe how some of us are feeling about this! Anyone who’s got our latest Wild Things Album (Vol 3) will have had their ears ripped off with the opening track Päättäjä on Pettäjä – a classic piece of punk rock if ever I heard it.
