INSPIRING OTHERS TO DO WHAT WE DO

A number of years ago I became aware of the Stay Up Late campaign and a documentary about a band called Heavy Load.

This inspired me to follow Heavy Load and I saw them at Glastonbury 2011 and then later at Worthing Assembly Hall.

Stay Up late and Heavy Load inspired me to create a music festival for people with Learning Disabilities called Apulstock (www.apulstock.co.uk). The festival is now in its fourth year and still going strong.

My only regret is that I never managed to have Heavy Load play and come to the festival to see what they started!
