“Never mind the bollocks – just support me to lead an ordinary life”

This is an article by Dr Claire Bates from Supported Loving with here reflections on our (un)Ordinary Conference in Streatham last month. One of our speakers, Phil Dyer, was reflecting on how much bollocks is spoken that prevents people with learning disabilities from leading ordinary lives and being able to work and have relationships.

Here’s Dr Bates’ article in Learning Disability Today reflecting on what she took from the conference.

We’ll have more updates and news to share soon.
