Corporate fundraising consultant wanted
As part of our ongoing plan to find new ways to fund our work we’ve decided to look for the support of a Corporate Fundraising Consultant. If you’re interested in working with us please read on to find out more about the sort of expertise we’re looking for.
About our charity
We are a small charity with a reputation for innovative and impactful work to enable people with learning disabilities and people with autism to lead full and active social lives.
Our innovative volunteer befriending project, Gig Buddies (which relieves loneliness through the simple approach of matching isolated people up with a volunteer who shares the same cultural passions) has seen us receive recognition from NESTA and The Big Issues and we have shared the model across the UK and in Australia.
Why we want a corporate fundraiser
As a young charity we have identified the need to strengthen our approach to diversifying our income and we believe we have a really strong offer to make to potential corporates as our work has real impact but also really easy for the general public to engage with, especially around night-time economy or sport related activities.
What we need
We need an experienced fundraiser who has work with corporate clients to support us to make the next steps and secure additional income, and make other potential ‘in-kind’ links.
Initially we want to commission a corporate fundraiser to come up with:
- A strategy for how we should approach this
- Research a list of potential corporate organisations that we could tailor our offer for.
We will then want to work with you to make your plan come in to action.
