Campaign for a fair society
Today (the 8th February 2011) sees the launch of this really important campaign (with a full page ad in The Times) which expresses the universal right we all have to live life on our own terms.
In the government’s comprehensive spending review, announced on October 20 last year, Chancellor George Osborne insisted that those with the “broadest shoulders should bear the greatest burden.”
In fact, the government is implementing cuts that will impact on some of the most vulnerable people in society, including people with learning disabilities and disabled children. Please sign up for the Campaign for a Fair Society and invite people you know who care about justice to join in.
