More Stay Up Lateness coming soon

We’ve had a quiet couple of months but will be back in action very soon. In the meantime here’s a poem about punk:

Punk’s about saying “Smash the System!”
Punk’s not a fashion, it’s a feeling
It’s not a way of life, it’s a believing
Punk’s for three cord wonders
Who care’s if it’s full of blunders?
Punk is “Do they owe us a living?”
Punk’s not down to wearing black
Or the Sex Pistols come back
Punk’s not some musical history
Or a long lost staircase mystery
One thing is for sure,
Punk’s not dead,
Or hidden away obscure,
Safety pins, button badges, ripped up jeans
Shouting out lyrics obscene
Ransom note lettering,
No to the dust settling
Punk’s about saying “Smash the System!”
Punk’s not a fashion, it’s a feeling
It’s jumping up and down to touch the ceiling
It’s all about an attitude
On a musicial latitude
