Promoting the right for people with learning disabilities to have a choice about how they live their lives

Video stories

In 2012 we completed a project in partnership with Southdown Housing Association (www.southdownhousing.org), funded by Brighton and Hove City Council Partnership Board (www.brightpart.org) to develop a quality testing tool, ‘The Q-Kit” for people with learning disabilities to assess the quality of the support they receive and to help them to say what could be changed in their lives.

As part of this project we interviewed people from around Brighton and Hove to find out what they thought made good support, and therefore a good life.

They came up with 9 headings and these short films show what they said.
