Summer festival season

We’re in the middle of the summer festival season now and Stay Up Late are having a bit of a look around some of them. Last week I went off to Secret Garden Party to meet the accessible camping people there and see what they get up to. Despite all the mud they were doing a fantastic job and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Next I’m off to Womad as a ‘human book’ in the ‘human library’ tent where I’ll be talking about discrimination and the work Stay Up Late does to support people with learning disabilities in leading the lives they want. The weather forecast is also looking rather encouraging so I’m expecting a slightly different experience to the scenes at last week’s Secret Garden Party! If you’re at Womad do come and say hello.

I’ll be posting again in a few weeks after my summer holiday so I thought I’d leave you with some new music from Wild Things collaborators,  The Hip Hoppers, reading you your rights!
