If the Kids Are United…
Last night saw a new experiment take place by Stay Up Late, with our first attempt at running one of our nights for kids. We linked up with two local youth clubs, the one at Hove Methodist and BHIP (Brighton and Hove Inclusion Project) and ran workshops with the kids to plan the night, come up with a name, design the posters and learn how to DJ.
The plan was a simple one, to run a night produced and delivered by kids with and without learning disabilities for all, and it turned out to be a brilliant night, so we’ll be planning another one soon.
