Here’s a message from the organisers…

Back in early May, we asked young people to vote on the sort of a summer event they’d like to see and the majority wanted a music festival during the summer holidays. We said we’d confirm the details as soon as we could – and now we can! Summer fest 2017 is for 16 to 25 year olds in West Sussex with special educational needs or disabilities that have a big effect on daily living, plus their carers or support workers and it’s from 5 to 8pm on Wednesday 9 August at Lodge Hill outdoor centre near Pulborough.

The free event will combine live bands and entertainment, plus chill out space and a delicious free barbecue. The event is a collaboration between Amaze, West Sussex County Council and Lodge Hill.

There will be free onsite parking, plus parking for those using wheelchairs adjacent to the festival site. There will also be wheelchair accessible toilets and a changing bed and hoist. The site where the festival will take place is on level grass.

To book, email or call 03302 228224.

We’ll be confirming more details about the event soon!
